Use it
SSH
Host ssh at the peer’s overlay address. The address is the point. The node accepts the session from a mesh member. The shell is the account registered on that machine. user@ does not pick the account. Port defaults to 22. Host-key checking stays on.
az ssh ~friendaz ssh --port 2222 nut@~friend unameaz ssh registers the peer, then runs ssh -6. Dest mesh add puts you on pending. You az mesh accept them. The node accepts the session from a member.
Stock ssh / git / scp
Print a Host stanza and drop it in ~/.ssh/config:
az ssh config ~friendHost friend
HostName fd00:1776::…
AddressFamily inet6
User and Port print only when you set them (--user, user@~friend, --port). Then ssh friend, scp, and git use that name.
The OS has the address. An installed peer answers as zod and zod.azimov.network. A pending peer does not. ~zod is not a label. az ssh still takes ~you.
